Teams + Tech Solutions + Mentorship

Are you a developer, innovator, student, organization, or you just have a brilliant idea? Then you are invited to compete locally with other teams in the rest of the world for the $25,000 USD first place prize, $15,000 USD second place prize, and $10,000 USD third place prize in addition to other consolation prizes.

This year's Community Challenge is focused on building software applications that use at least one of these three featured technologies: React360, Spark AR, and/or HTML5 Games. Your software must also fit into one of these three categories: Gaming and Entertainment, Productivity and Utility, or Social Good.

As the Developer Circles Community Challenge kick-off, join other developers in Kumasi to learn more about the challenge and its associated technologies, build teams, pitch ideas and get mentored to stand the chance of winning BIG from the challenge.

Adams K. Sulemana

A video game and technology enthusiast. I spend my free time learning and practicing robotics, game development and CAD. I am currently about to start my national service with KNUST . I look forward to having this learning experience with everyone.

Allen Eben Tetteh

A Software and Database developer. at Adepts Company Limited. I am also a research student in Genetic Algorithms and Partial Differential Equations at KNUST. I love assisting and teaching people how to code. I have had ample experience with JavaScript (ReactJs) and built some applications with it. I was the lead facilitator at the just ended coding school organised by Aces Code Hub in Kumasi. I want to change the perception of people about Mathematics and Programming.

Samuel Danquah

Samuel is an Engineer and Entrepreneur with a strong commitment
to youth development while engaging transformative technologies for impact. He has contributed positively to national renewable energy projects for UNEP and UNDP in Ghana. With a diversified background in Engineering, Business, Entrepreneurship, Software, and User Experience Design, Samuel recently led the maiden edition of the NASA SpaceApps program in Ghana and is the Project Lead.

Ama Duncan

Ama Duncan is Founder of The Fabulous Woman Network (The FWN) where she conducts activities to economically empower women. Through The FWN, she has created Fub Hub |Ashanti – a co-working office and event space for women-led startups, organised entrepreneurial development events for over 1000 women and shared life-changing stories of 200 fabulous women reaching over 10,000,000 people on social media. Ama is committed to working towards an Africa in which women and youth are economically empowered to create wealth.
